problem solving + final poster

So just as i thought i'd finished my final piece to photograph for my poster i went to show my flat mate Chris Stanley in the second year graphics group and ask his opinion on the final piece. Luckily he made me notice i'd made a mistake in my work, instead of putting 'GF Smith' i'd put 'GM Smith' - this was probably due to the fact i'd been looking at the GM cricket brief and work from my flat mate. Luckily it was spotted before the hand in so i had time to correct it by cutting out a separate 'F' and fitting it into place on my final piece and photographing it!

my final 3-D object

i decided to become more intrigued with the shape icosahedron and decided to see if that i made more that one or two, they would fit together perfectly and see how it would work..
due to this they didnt quite fit perfectly together, however it made an interesting piece so i decided to keep it as a final piece. i decided just having my shape on just white blank paper wouldn't be too exciting so i decided to use different bits from magazines to cover the shape.

icosahedron

i decided to start on making my final 3-d object today and decided to work some more with triangles and came across the shape icosahedron which i found interesting and decided to make nets for it.
it is a regular polyhedron with 20 identical equilateral triangular faces, 30 edges and 12 vertices.
